Sing sweet songs

Saw Dark Star Orchestra the other night. So good........... Had a hippie playing with my pigtails while I rocked back and forth to Brokedown Palace. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Brian called me the next day, and left me a message saying he figured I was in a broom closet somewhere w a hippie. Ha, ha. I will always have a weakness for them. Something about the long hair, beard, and dancing.......... Am really amped for T-Day. I love deviled eggs and they are sort of a staple at family gatherings. Kate's bday was a super blast. We had a huge sit down meal (T Day style) for the event. Am planning my trip to Puerto Rico for Feb. I have never been away form home on my b day (or ever left the country) so I am excited baout that. We rented a house in Rincon, which has some super mellow beaches and we are 30 minutes from a bioluminecent bay which is a place where there is somebacterial phenonmenon that makes the water glow when touched. They have nets around the perimeter of an area so you can swim in it. It is so amazing to see pictures of it, and I wont be too scared to be in the water because big fishies can't get in to where you are (am terrified of whales and dolphins). And I want to go horseback riding in a rainforest, or on the beach. I have been craving a good trail ride for a while now. When I grow up I will def have two horses. Kind of want to name them Charlotte and Emily (after the Bronte sisters). Okay I am just rambling now....... Love to all............

Wanna rock your gypsy soul..........

Yo yo! So sorry I have been so distant. I have benn busy, busy, busy. With work, and friends, and such. I had to do a panel interview today (for a job I didnt ask for). It was so weird. 4 people asking me questions while I sat on the other side trying not to puke. It actually wasn't so bad. I wrote down the obv questions and answered them and talked myself thru them a few times, and a couple friends gave me tips on what would be asked and I had a couple questions to ask the panel, so that was cool. I was told after that I was one of the better candidates. That I kept my composure and answered the questions thoroughly and was very direct. So that was cool. I am so weorded out about it though. I know I would make more $ and all, but the responsibility really bothers me. I guess anything new is always scary. Sad about Sully not being able to see Dark Star w me. I understand though, dude, and I know no one is more sad about it than us. Next time we will rock a show. I will try to find a Modest Mouse show that we can hit- that would be a blast! Poor Oliver jumped off my bed yesterday and hurt his back. After being sedated and getting x-rays they determined that he has calcification between his vertebrae which means that he could hurt himself very easily because of his elongated shape (think dachsund) and from now on he has to use stairs to climb on to anything taller than him. I cried so hard. I hate thinking he is hurt. He has painkillers, and I bought him a set of stairs so he can climb onto my bed, and couches, and I can take them w me for when he goes to Mumma's or Brians. Poor pooch. Brian is over installing locks on our doors. Our neighbor is getting a little too close for comfort. Will tewll you more about that later, unlessKate does. Anywho love to all of you. Miss you all, and will try to check up on everyoneshortly. Ado so funny seeing you today. I love the rock and roll thumbs up................

Eye's of the World

Yo, yo! Slept some insane amount of hours yesterday (apparently I was exhausted). Been having wicked allergy issues, so I am trying to only drink water ~sorry beer I still love you :( ~
and flush my system so I don't get more sick. It is hard w asthma to just get a cold, or just have allergies sometimes. Am also trying to not smoke as much. It is so hard. Sucks. Saturday Brian and I went to a friend's in Keene for a bbq, and then walked thru town. It was the Pumpkin Festival. We walked down main st and headed into 21 w a bunch of people for a couple beers. Then Brian and I went to his friend;s to play poker. I get way too bored w it so I end up betting all my chips so I can do something else (this time it was to play w Ben's pigs). Sunday Brian and Josh and Ben carved pumpkins. Isabella had to have a pirate so she traced the pattern, and poor Josh sat outside for a looooooong time trying to make it just right for her. Ha, ha. I don't enjoy carving pumpkins. They are too cold, and I get frustrated, and it make my fingers get all pruney. Yucky. I do like the seeds though. Tasty little suckers. Adrienne, when are we going? Carpooling? Kris hope Hawaii is treating you well Mahalo and Aloha to you!

They are all reasons to me

Yo kids.
I wanted to quickly ask you all to consider calling your senators to ask them to cosponsor the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (S.195). Last year alone 90,000+ horses were slaughtered (here and exported to Canada and Mexico) for human consumption! If this disgusts you please act. NH Senators #'s Senator Judd Gregg (202-224-3324) & Senator John Sununu (202-224-2841). The US House voted to end the slaughter and now it has to be passed thru the Senate. Go to HSUS for further info. I become increasingly aware of our power to help make decisions over the past year on behalf of animals, and any law to help them live better lives has my vote. I know that these things can be controversial so I urge you to view both sides, but please contribute!

Hit me like a tom

Yo. Got real drunk on Friday and ended up braking a finger. Poor Brian. Saturday I met a dog named Nugget that I love love love. I also got to play w Brian's cousin's dog Sadie. She is awesome at fetch, and she will actually put the ball back in your hand. Work is being a bitch once again. I have to do my work twice until I am able to reconfigure some products which sucks. Hate to do the same thing twice. Kat has an exam tomorrow for Art History. Wish her luck. I am sure she will do fine. Made apple crisp tonight. So not much new, will talk more later. Kisses, love and all the good stuff to all of you.
