First day back at work was BUSY. I love that though- I work so much better under pressure. I like knowing that I can fill my day productively. Lately it has been such a drag there, as I am between jobs (my new one has yet to be revealed to me in full). Had an awesome Sunday. Went for a walk thru a park in Keene w Chels, and shopping. Spent the rest of the day w Brian, and fam.
Went out for a drink w blue eyes the other night (ex Matt). Was thinking it was going to be super uncomfortable, but he had a few friends w him. He has been wanting to hang out for a while, and I have been sick, or coming up w excuses as to why I can't. I just don't think that we need to hang out I mean, I barely knew him, and I was not sure what his expectations of seeing me were. I told him I didn't want a bf when we were hanging out, and it fizzled real fast after ( a little background). He told me he wanted to explain some things to me, and I told him to shoot, but he said it wasn't the appropriate place to, and I should come over. Anywho, I told him about Brian and he acted surprised. Wanted to know when I decided I actually did want a bf as I referred to Brian as mine. I said I don't know, it snuck up on me. All the while I am thinking why the f am I even having this conversation. He told me he just wanted to tell me that he wanted us to be friends. I gave him a quizzical look at that. I mean we only knew each other for a couple weeks. Just odd. He is nice, but I don't have much in common w him, and it seems weird. Whatever............. Does anyone else think it odd? I might feel different if we had the same friends or lived in the same town or something. And I am so into Brian, he is the sweetest, funniest person I have encountered in so long. I guess it just isn't worth it to me to f anything up w him, by hanging out w a recent ex. I am so ranting right now................
Kate just arrived. She has a cold. Blah.
